Introduction to Counter-Strike : Global Offensive
By searching Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on google, one can know CS: GO may be a person competitive game wherever terrorists play against the counter terrorists. But there is more and a huge strategic game behind this one sentence. However, that's determined by the game mode you are taking part in, which will be chosen from the main menu.
The main game-style of CS: GO splits into 2 completely different map varieties.
- Defuse and
- Hostage Rescue
Defuse :
The most popular game style is playing with the Defuse map.
If you happen to look at a competitive match between pro teams, the
probabilities are it's this mode that is being played. Terrorists start with a
bomb and might select one in all 2 bombsites to plant it at. The Counter
Terrorists begin nearer to those sites and should defend. Either team will win
by eliminating the opposite team, or by detonating or defusing the bomb. If
time runs out, Counter Terrorists win.
Hostage rescue maps are the opposite. Terrorists begin with
2 hostages that the Counter Terrorists should reach, rescue and come back to
their start zone- they need to save one to win the round. Yet again you'll be
able to also win by killing the opposite team, and also the terrorists can run,
escape or hide from the Counter Terrorists and win on game-time.
These 2 map varieties are played casually or competitively.
These 2 map varieties are played casually or competitively.
Casually :
Casual is played ten Vs ten server. There is no team
killing, it's far more forgiving and you simply need to reach eight rounds to
win.
There are also more casual modes in this game.
- Deathmatch,
- Demolition, and
- Race.
Deathmatch :
Deathmatch is the simplest. If you die, you spawn another
time somewhere in your level. You'll be able to select those weapons to use and
you must kill everyone on the opposite team. The action is fast and it is a
very important mode you should practice to prepare yourself.
Demolition :
In Demolition, there is a single bomb site and the maps are
smaller. There are 10 rounds in this mode, you have to change team after 5
rounds and each round is fast because there's only one planting zone.
You can’t buy new weapons also, your weapons will be
upgraded automatically if you can get kills.
And finally, there is race. It's like deathmatch where you
begin with a fixed weapon and go through the list by killing other players. The
final task is to kill an enemy with a knife, then the game will be finished and
if you passed the final task, you will win. However, do not expect your team to
be happy with you. It's each man for himself during this mode! A recent update
created it so the highest player can be seen by others through walls, creating
it drastically harder for one person to pull before others during this mode.
This race is very frustrating, however, there is been a
thriving community for this mode for many years before CS: GO came out
actually.
Competetive :
Competitive mode is ranked, which means that the game puts
you in a five vs five game with balanced groups and your score is decided by
how well you perform and whether or not you win. If you die, you remain dead
till the present round is over, which may take up to a couple of minutes. After
each round, counting on how you have done and which team won, you are awarded
cash for larger and higher weapons and things. You play on one team for fifteen
rounds and so switch to the other, with the primary team to sixteen winning the
game.
Play enough games during this mode and you get a badge to
indicate you the way perform compared with everyone else within the game.
This rank will go up or down, counting on whether you play
good or bad.
However, it is best to not jump straight into this mode if
you don't know much about this game or you are a new player.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a hugely popular game and it's growing day
by day. It gets regular updates and new options and maybe a nice game to
induce. You can find always a match to play and that I have had several
unforgettable memories and experiences in my time enjoying it. I want you all
the best in yours!
